The Bikes in Bilbao

During the week of the 15th August 2005 we took the bikes and the equipment that we had at the time (mainly the essential camping equipment) on a test ride from London to Bilbao in Northern Spain. Due to our lack of riding experience we thought that it was essential to get some miles behind us before departing for the big one. We crossed The Channel between Dover and Calais and got the ferry back from Bilbao to Portsmouth. We both agreed that the trip was a success although we did get on each others nerves on the Bilbao ferry (36 hours!).
